RDC Rig

After seeing several homemade versions of this setup, I knew we could build an RDC rig that was more durable, reliable, and purpose-built. The design was developed with input from experienced breachers and refined through more than a decade of hands-on breaching experience.

Our Rapid Deployment Charge Rig (RDC Rig) is built for fast and controlled deployment. It features a holder for your handle, a plug tethered to the rig, a shock resistant cap protector, and a 4-inch-wide Velcro retention strap to keep the shock tube secure and organized.

This latest version incorporates a 3D-printed main handle retainer, allowing us to produce a stronger, more refined design. 

Durability was a priority from the beginning. The 3D-printed main handle retainer is built for durability. Each component is printed nearly solid with extra-thick walls using an engineering grade, UV and impact resistant filament. Sharp corners have been eliminated to reduce stress points and improve long-term reliability. Every line, opening, and feature serves a specific purpose backed by years of hands-on breaching experience.

I also spent more time that I'll admit making it look cool. Everyone likes cool gear, and if you say you don't, you're f'ing lying!

For deployment, pull the cap from the protector, connect it to the charge using a QCC, then pull the remaining shock tube from the bottom of the rig. DO NOT UNDO THE VELCRO AT THE DOOR!!!.. This is very aggressive Velcro.  It will take forever and be really, really loud.
