Active Shooter Sling

I've spent the last eight years developing my Magnetic Shotgun Retention System for my SWAT vest. Like many of you, SWAT is an extra assignment for me. My primary role is as a patrol officer.  I needed a way to carry my breaching shotgun that facilitated easy storage, rapid deployment and ammunition management while on patrol.  I had cobbled something together, but my strength is kydex, not sewing.  Working with Chris over at Snake Eater Tactical, we took my concept and his craftsmanship, and developed this sling.

Now, you can easily store and carry 20 breaching rounds securely, and out of the way.  If the day comes that you need to respond to an active shooter incident, this sling allows you to deploy your breaching shotgun quickly and still be able to shoulder your rifle.  

Simply pull the red velcro, open the sling, throw it over your shoulder and cinch it down.  

There is a cost for the rapid deployment, the shotgun will swing when you run.  I attempted to find a solution to this complication, but everything slowed down either putting the shotgun on, or the actual shooting of a lockset. I tuck it behind my pistol and it works well for me. 

This sling is specifically designed to rapidly deploy a breaching shotgun to an active shooter incident, where speed is vital.  I did not design it to be used for a primary weapons system.
